Ameritech Corporate IT
Tuesday, September 22, 7:00-9:00 pm
College of DuPage Room SRC-1048
How to adjust the fine tuning on your TCP/IP network, whether it's
a multi-platform corporate LAN/WAN or a Linux served kitchen table
to bedroom closet home LAN. The topics will include choosing your
network address and netmask - including a how-to on variable subnets;
how to configure name resolution - particularly by using DNS and
BIND; and configuring your PCs and servers when your LAN is behind
an Internet firewall.
Mike Andrews is Team Leader - Network in Corporate Information
Technologies at Ameritech, supporting Ameritech's management and
staff at the corporate headquarters in downtown Chicago. Previously

Commerce. He designed and deployed the data centers and the TCP/IP
extranets for EC projects including Ameritech's Regional Health
Information Networks (RHINs) in several U.S cities.
Mike has been supporting Novell and Unix servers and networks for
over 12 years in a series of positions at firms including VideOcart,

spotted the gold mustang with the TCP IP license plate it was Mike
