Abstract

How to adjust the fine tuning on your TCP/IP network, whether it's a multi-platform corporate LAN/WAN or a Linux served kitchen table to bedroom closet home LAN. The topics will include choosing your network address and netmask - including a how-to on variable subnets; how to configure name resolution - particularly by using DNS and BIND; and configuring your PCs and servers when your LAN is behind an Internet firewall.
