• Started using GNU Emacs in 1991

• Wanted to be more productive during dial-up sessions

• Use it to develop Perl and C

• Use it to read Usenet News (GNUS)

• Use it as my MUA (VM)

• Use shell-mode and dired for system interaction

• Basically, I live inside Emacs
