Building Emacs

• Run configure

  configure --prefix=/usr/local  --with-x11=yes  --with-x-toolkit=motif
  

• Compile Emacs

  • Lisp Engine (xemacs)
  • Byte compiling Lisp
  • Dump emacs executable
